The Upper Deck - Yacolt and Murphy Timber Track Plan

The layout room forms part of our 9.5m x 6m (31' x 20') American Barn.  The dedicated layout space is  6m x 3m (10' x 20').

My plan is a multi deck design with the top incorporating the terminus of Yacolt and its interchange with various logging lines that transported finished timer and cut logs across the NP tacks in the 1930's

Murphy logging company operates a small mill on site from the early years of the line. Their main traffic now is log trains originating from the log truck transfer on an upper shelf reached from a switchback at the old log landing.
